Stian Heimlund Skjæveland
Heimlund Skjæveland (b. 1973), also known as Sheim, is a figurative painter. He lives and works in Jørpeland, Norway.
He is inspired by the horizon, geometry and the tension between light and darkness - "In the darkness I find, In the light I create." (chiaroscuro). Sheim is known for his narrative landscapes and figurative compositions rooted in the baroque and romanticism.
